I've just changed from a 1mm pick to 0.6mm Tortex. Im really liking the extra flex in it.

I started out with a 3mm Dunlop stubby and keep going lighter.

Some wonderful bass playing here and there.... but more importantly this 30 minutes is in my humble opinion the epitome of the punk ethos......Please give it a watch.. Long live Nomeansno....

Streetlight Manifesto have some crazy basslines, they're punk/ska so there's more of a swing feel to the lines..throw in all the harmonics, slides and bends and you get some busy hand work to do.

It's hard to hear un-isolated with their songs being so busy with brass instruments and stuff but there's a lot of Youtube vids covering the bass part.
