charles.bioul.bass Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Hi Y'all, My name's Charles and I'm a bassist. Been playing bass for 15+ years now, and I'm 28. Played metal, but now I mainly play r'n'b, funk, soul, pop stuff. As for gear, I'm lucky to have the 3 big classics (IMO!) FENDER P (US std second hand, with jazz neck) FENDER Jazz (flea road worn) Musicman Stingray (EB) Also the latest acquisition was a Maruszczyk Elwood 5a C. Insane bass, chambered body so it weighs 3.6kg and very cool looking & sounding. For amps I'm with markbass, MoMark 600 and 2x12 Ninja cab. I'm a big fan of vovox cables (made in Switzerland) they are a game changer, but very pricey. And yeah otherwise I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in music performance at ICMP in London and building my portfolio to become a professional bassist and bass teacher.
