Seeking the wise of the Fender Squier division of the Basschat collective...

Listed on the 'Bay...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Squier-Precision-Bass/193929915702?hash=item2d271fad36:g:rC0AAOSw691gPjEc&redirect=mobile

Is this real and what it seems?

Neckplate, Coloured Headstock, Logo, Colour etc.

Not sure to have a bid? Not round the corner, but 50 miles, an hour ish, and have looked at it a few times... Would idealy like a P rather than PJ... but looked again! or best left alone?

Ta Muchly

I was going to buy one of those a few years ago but couldn't justify yet another bass in the house. The only thing wrong with that particular Squier is that it looks like a biohazard and may get confiscated by a special UN chemical weapons inspectorate. 🤢🤮

I’ve got the 1998 Mexican P bass special, they have the jazz width neck, and they play extremely nice

Are there any Squiers worth counterfeiting?

The baritone Jazzmasters have got a bit trendy, and are selling for £700-1000 🤷‍♂️

I don't think any amount of cleaning would make me want to touch that one though

I'd take the neck off while wearing rubber gloves and put both halves in the dishwasher...

Went for £107... i was outbid and run out of time...

Usual 'Final Flourish' and possible bidding software? who knows...

Was it anyone on here? Oh Well...

And my Cheap Flat Adagio's turned up today...

I'll keep looking for a Cheap P a-like...

Regretting letting the Crafter Cruiser go to my eldest's mate now.

Should just use the GSR200 as PJ rather than GASing

If it wasnt too heavy that was a steal, then factor in three weeks to clean it...

Well, to be fair, the seller did go out of his way to write "needs a clean" on the last pic. 😁
One can't have it all, ya know. 😉

I've bought, cleaned and then sold for a profit much worse than that. £107 was cheap 👍

Fully agree with that. The winkey I used was to indicate I'm on @PaulThePlug's side in the discussion, as was the expression "go out of his way".
