Putting pickups in no-hole closed plastic covers tone question?

Hello there guys I have a question - If I remove the pickups from the original open-hole PJ covers and put them into closed no-hole PJ plastic ones that covers the pole pieces, did will that change the tone of the pickup? Thank you 🙂
