Zoe_BillySheehan
www.myspace.com/zoeheslopbass I'd really appreciate it if some of you would have a listen to these there mostly just to try out this little plug in thing i bought, works very well for £15 Thankyou Zoe xXx
The Funk
I like Zoe's Bass 2. I just wish you'd bring that opening riff back into it somewhere - it's too good to just throw away like that. Your time's pretty good and it grooves hard!
YouMa
I think your timing is good as well zoe,you have layered the tracks nicely, you are sounding a lot more experienced than your 17 years. Good solid playing. Edited March 24, 2009 by YouMa
Zoe_BillySheehan
Hey wow cheers!! the first tracks out of time, it was just testin out the plug in by layering up some tracks, but for some reason i didn't use a metronome, or drumtrack, then I added a drum track afterwards, bit silly really! thanks again! The Funk
You may as well just re-record the bass parts for the first one. You should force yourself to turn the second one into a full on song with vocals. Just come up with a vocal melody and then try fitting some words to it. Even if you can't sing, you should still try to come up with something. If you're not in a band right now, then start one (with people who actually like real rock) and get them to cowrite it with you. As you've done most of the hard work on your own, I think you may as well finish it on your own. Songwriting's tough but so much more rewarding (for me anyway) than practising arpeggios all day.
