Machine head ID

I got these a few years ago on a neck I bought. They are marked Gibson & are 4 in line.

I just assumed Thunderbird but when I've had a look they all seem to be closed back ones. Any ideas?

Victory I had looked at but they all seemed to be chrome.

Explorer - didn't think of that - & sure enough

I guess it would depend on which era they came from. A Thunderbird of a similar era to the Explorer pictured would possibly have similar machine heads.

Just a thought.

I think they're Schallers. The cast key & shaft are the same as M4S units, which sometimes turn up with Gibson branding.
