Ditto.....I've had a Vigier Excess and an EBS rig from BD in the past, great service.

 

On one occasion though I thought things might go awry as I bought a P Bass which was advertised as a US but in fact the neck was US but the body was Mex so it was a bitsa albeit a very good one.  I phoned Mark to let him know and after some discussion he agreed to refund some of the money I'd paid. Can't say fairer than that.

I bought a t-shirt from them at a Bass guitar show in 2016, and last month my boiler went on the blink.

+1 never using them again!

I was over the Moon with my last order until "the wise one with the all-seeing eye" said, "another company trying to ingratiate themselves with their customers by sending out "free" landfill. You are the last person that needs another sticker or a ballpoint pen."

 

I will be putting comments on any future orders to politely decline free pens and stickers however because US and Euro Spectors are made of ethical wood, I'll be accepting those as alternatives.

Sorry about that, its a classic thing of some will love it and some will hate it...

 

I really do understand the concerns when it comes to the environmental impact of the pens/stickers and will consider our choices moving forward.

Just bought a second hand Mex Precision from Bass Direct. Parcelforces system did its best to keep me on tenterhooks over the weekend but the comms from the BD team throughly were both extremely prompt and excellent. Bass arrived today and am really pleased with it.

I know I’m the OP on this thread, but I would like to add another positive review.

 

I took my Vigier Excess 4 Roger Glover up to Mark and his team, a week ago. Though Marcus and Ash were there and didn’t have time to say “Hello”, I had a brilliant catch up with my dear friend Mark. Every time is a pleasure. Thankful. 
 

Anyway, they took my bass, advertised it wonderfully, and it sold within 5 days. Payment made 2 working days later. So appreciative of a place like this.

I ordered some stuff,  I asked in the special instructions that the pen and sticker wasn't included, so that I didn't get any stick at home, and it happened. Can't argue with that.

Wow, wow, wow. Bass Direct seems to be really state-of-the-art now when it comes to using technology. Much more activity on social media and now also using ChatGPT to post here. Why do I say that? Well, as we all know, Mark, Marcus and Ash work at BD. Mark cannot have written the post as it says "good catch-up with Mark" and not "with me". Marcus and Ash also cannot have written it as it says "Sorry Marcus and Ash didn't get a chance" and not "Marcus and I" or "Ash and I". So, clearly written by ChatGPT, like this post, by the way 😉

I'm planning another trip in the near future and, have to say, the virtual showroom on the website is awesome - I spent ages nosing around.  A really great addition, wish more stores had this.
