Jeff Cater
Has anyone ever tried an octave pedal after a Chorus pedal? I did this accidentally today with an EBS octabass after an EBS unichorus, I just put them in the “wrong” order and did not notice. I rather liked the effect so may try to use it this way. I know this seems to go against all of the advice that is on this site and others, but then again rules were always meant to be broken. The tracking seemed to be no worse and the sound of the octave seemed somehow clearer. I use the octabass On mid setting with full normal and octave quite low at about 8 o’clock. The chorus has a very high depth, 3 o’clock, but very low rate, 9 o’clock. Very interested if anyone else has ever done this.
Stingray64
Does it not put the sub octave out of tune which would be super muddy in a mix?

I once tried my Octamizer after my Jam Ripplyfall chorus and it was just mud. Don't feel the need for any more experimentation there.
