Single pickup wiring mod question

If I wanted to have a Volume and Tone bypassed signal option would this be the correct switch wiring ?  and would a double pole on-on switch be the correct switch, and would the V and T circuit have no effect at all on the direct signal, i.e. there wouldn't be any feedback through the earth connection, which would be through the metal plate holding the pots and jack socket, (in this case a Mustang, if I could I'd fit a stack pot for the V and T and the switch in the vacant tone pot hole)

Which looks the same but using slightly less wire.

I used a push / pull pot last time I did it (on a Tele)
