Aria Pro ii SB Elite I SOLD!
£525
St Albans/ WGC

Recommended Posts

BACK UP FOR SALE!

Probably losing money here and offering out an insane bargain.

Won't bore you with the details of why this has been up and down and up again, suffice to say the bass has had some work done it since last time so I felt it was worth a new thread.

I've done a video demo to show the bass and talk abut about it, see here: https://youtu.be/V4Isg3Y18v4

I've also done another:

Happy for local pickup or can send by a reliable courier (APC). Prefer UK Sale only considering the recent complications for international deliveries.

Listed elsewhere at a higher price because of fees and people always making lowball offers!

Price dropped to £445. Would prefer a UK sale. The set up on this bass is superb, bashed out a rendition of Rio just this morning. Unfortunately I'm a bit too well stocked for basses right now. At this price I think I'm losing money after all the work that's gone in to this bass, but it deserves to be played and enjoyed.

Neck through, 80s Japanese build quality. Original brass tuners and bridge. Brand new (faithful replica) pickup, plus a Kiogon loom to bring it all to life and straight to the top of the mix.

Still up for sale. Was going to a well known and respectable bass specialist shop who want to put it on sale for £550. But until I can travel there a BC'er could take it off my hands for the advertised price in this ad.

Change in band circumstances, new bass required. This has to go! Now on ebay with a £274 reserve... Obviously I much prefer a BC Sale, as opposed to ebay idiots who have bid just £2 and £8 for an item with a reserve

Right. I am so sick of people messing me about with this bass... Not on BC but elsewhere. This bass has "sold" loads of times but to fantacists and weirdos. If someone wants the bass, and most importantly has the means to pay for it... I'll take £200. I need to make space for a new bass and this has been usurped by something even more shockingly 80s. I'm losing money at this price but I've learned some expensive lessons here.

I'll give you 200 for it if you can post it and depending on cost of postage. I'm in Scotland.

I can pay by paypal or bank transfer.

Brian - estimate for postage is £35. If it's less than that then I'll refund the difference. I have a box and a gig bag ready.

OK. How would you like paid? I can paypal today but I'll need to put cash in bank tomorrow for a bank transfer.

My postcode is PA58TE if that helps with the postage estimate. Central Scotland, near Glasgow so nowhere exotic.

The bass has arrived intact. I'm very happy with it. My first electric guitar was a righty Westbury standard bought from a work colleague 30 odd years ago. Sweetest sounding guitar I've ever owned. My daughter uses it now as she is a righty and she loves it. A lefty Matsumoko bass has been my unicorn bass for a few years now. Never thought I'd own one but now I do. I couldn't be happier with it.

The bass was delivered to a neighbor of mine, don't know which one, and Ross was extremely helpful in chasing the courier. The neighbour, whoever it was, left it on my doorstep this morning so all turned out well but I'd like to thank Ross for both the bass and his help in chasing the courier. An excellent fellow who I wouldn't hesitate to deal with again.

Brian, I'm chuffed to bits it's gone to someone who knows what it is and will appreciate it. I acquired it in an absolute state and had visions of resurrecting it to play in my 80s band. Though the resurrection happened the 80s band died off before it could get started and with my receding hairline nobody would mistake me for John Taylor, sadly.
