Thanks for the tip, Audacity is an important part of my musical tool kit.......

..... ... however I'll probably stick with version2 for the following reasons

1 - It already does the few simple tasks I need 👍

2 - I didn't understand most of the terms in the linked article 🤣

I too will be sticking with 2.3.2. I can’t see that any of the new features will save me any time or effort. The labelling thing isn’t something I need, I have no problem with using the Silence Finder as it is.

Ii think 160 bugs fixed is a good argument. I guess the main compelling reason will be if you exchange files with other people and they upgrade to version 3.0, since the new file format isnt' backwards-compatible.

Ok, thanks. I will give it a read. So far I´m rockin´ the 2.3.1 version and will check if the update improves something for me.
