Does anyone here own one of these

I did have a 63 version a few years ago. Certainly had the feel and sound of the real thing. My one was possibly a bit over-relic'd, but looked authentic from a distance.

I have a Nash PB-57. Best bass I've owned. Mine is to my taste but as others have said the relic can be a bit OTT sometimes. That being g said every Nash I've tried either guitar or bass has felt wonderful to play.

Thanks dan, most of the reading I’ve done seems to say , that they are quality instruments and play really well

You’re worth it, mister.  Buy it, buy it right now

Thanks Geek 🙂 I do keep going back for another look , I’ve got my eye on a few things at the moment and can’t make my mind up 😁

But this is awesome and you’ll be saving me the trouble of thinking of reasons not to buy it by just buying it yourself and thus making it unavailable to me. You’ll get karma for that thoughtful deed alone

I've owned way too many genuine vintage Fenders and think the Bravewoods get much closer to the 'vibe' of the real ones than the Nashs and the aging looks far more authentic. Also Bravewood scratch builds his necks and bodies where, so far as I'm aware, Nash has been off the shelf parts - like Allparts, etc - and then finishes and assembles.

Don't know if this is poor form, but I've declined the offer of £1399 on this, I think there is an agreement to be had between 1300 and 1399. But at the moment I'm just holding off (my initial offer was a bit rash).

So if anyone wants to go for it feel free. If not I'll likely have lost my senses again in a few days to a fortnight and snag it.

Yup - I've had a couple of Nash instruments (a JB and a tele) and Bravewoods (again, JB and a tele). I don't want to be mean about Nash guitars, but Bravewoods are in a different league.

Yeah, trying to be diplomatic. I find Nash's 'aging' over obvious - particularly on the necks. I've sprayed nitro myself and see the Nash guitars and basses as kit instruments just put together by someone else. I could do the same - I could not, however, approach what Bravewood (or Clive Brown) does. Whole other level of skill and done with an artist's eye.
