A string retainer for Fender Player Series precision

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get an A string retainer for MIM Player series basses that work with the pressed in ferrules?

I know you can get them for the US made bases with the screw down nut, but but not sure about one that works with pressed in ferrules. I’ve got a rattling on the A string because of the string angle over the nut when using  Labella Flats. 

If not I’ll need to look at fitting something like a Hipshot 3 string retainer.

I've one of the US ones on the way . When it arrives I'll have a better idea of the size.

Plan is get some ring crimp terminals of the correct size then plate them. Largest I can find so far take a 20mm stud.

What do you think the ferrule diameter is ? 

 

Could be as simple as popping the ferrule out, slip the crimping ring over it then slipping it back on the peghead.
