Includes Postage.

This is a great little amp. I have used it on a few gigs and lots of rehearsals. It is light 2.23Kg and quite petite. It is a good amp for small/medium gigs and at this power a step up from the Lord of the Rings amps (Elf, Gnome and BAM). Its a simple amp with no useless features.

However it  does have some useful features like a front panel aux level control that save you diving for your phone/ipod when you need to change the volume.

The gain just turns up the volume for the first part of the travel then gradually brings in a nice amount of overdrive that really thickens up the sound.  The tone stack is passive and pays homage to the old FMV passive tone stacks, think of the Fender Bassman tone stack. The Ashdown logo on the front lights up in a lovely blue but it does not show up on photos. You can just see the real blue reflected on the knobs in the pictures. Incidentally I changed the cream knobs for light grey ones.

The speaker sockets are the combo Speakon/jack sockets.

I am selling as I have too many amps and one has to go. Comes in original box and postage is included. Any questions, please ask.

Great little heads. I've gigged many times with one of these. Main or a spare it's a no brainer at that price. GLWTS

Last year (before bat-flu) I heard one of these thru a 2x15 at a gig I was playing. Sounded bloody marvellous.

Mostly used mine with either the 10" combo cab and sometimes the extension cab too. That sounded great but when paired with a pair of Ashdown. 4x8's, it was a thing of absolute beauty!

I got a bit excited about this but then realised that it won't work with my single 1x12 4ohm cab! 😪

What makes you think that? It takes a 4 Ohm minimum load.

It was mentioned on a youtube review.

Looking at the back of the amp, each output says 8ohms too.

Hope I've got it wrong though as I'm quite interested in this amp.

`the bit that gives it away is the third picture down from the top that says min load 4 ohms

The 2 outputs will take an 8 ohm load and are wired in parallel so with 2 x 8 Ohm cabs plugged in you get a 4 Ohm load presented to the amp.

Plug 1 X 4 Ohm cab in and it's the same result. Just don't plug anything else in 🙂

Yup, @BassBunny is right, the Premier Guitar video is talking complete tosh :)

And he's wearing that precision bass far too high for my liking! 😉

Thanks for the confirmation guys.

The combo version I have was mistakenly shipped from new with a 4ohm driver (there's a big thread on here about it). It worked flawlessly. I eventually put an 8ohm in so I could use 2x10's with it. You can 100% use this with a 4ohm cab.

Yes it will it is just that if you connect a 4 ohm cab you cannot  use the other speaker output.

@Chienmortbb is it really 46cm wide?   Looks much smaller in the photos!

Ashdown's figures. I measured it and it is (wiything a coule of mm:

H x W x D (mm)  73 x 255 x 205 measured.
