Howdy

[2020Jazz]

Just another fat old yank who bought a new Jazz after 15 years without a bass. I won't be restringing my GL Jazz with flats or replacing the guard with a hideous tortoiseshell one, either. May I stay?

Nice... Black 'n Mapel... Pearly Blocks 'n Pearl Guard.

Those black machine heads give the mapel a bit of lift and definition. black bridge would of been tooo much, and i likes a thumb rest.

Thank you. It is a 2020 Geddy Lee USA signature, I added the thumb rest IN THE RIGHT PLACE. Ole Leo didn't get it right the first time there, now did he?   Geddy is my hero, but I bought the bass because I found it on ebay for $1600 and it is 2000 bucks new. I have zero intentions of keeping it "original", hence the black Hipshots and other ideas I have for it.
