BarnsleyBoy
Hi everyone - hope you are all well and staying sane. Love them or loath them, I've had my Hohner B2A Bass for a good few years. I bought it for a bit of home recording stuff love the futuristic shape but I've barely played it of late. I'm delving into Cubase at the moment and been experimenting with playing it through my Line6 Helix. Looking forward to contributing where I can. SpondonBassed
Welcome BB. I've had one of those for quite a while now. At the time of purchase, in the eighties, it was regarded as a good recording instrument. Mine even has an XLR fitted to send a clean signal to the interface. A tip if you haven't already heard of them: Superwound AKA piano wound strings... It's not easy to get them now, especially as DBEs, but if you ever have the opportunity, get some. They complement the neck-through design of the bass quite well, giving you more harmonics and great sustain.
