Steve Lawson uses loop pedals to great effect, I would say he has probably experimented with a few and has a good knowledge of what's good n bad. Check him out.

I borrowed a Boss rc-20 for a while, it was good fun but I didn't really get on with it. It might've been my stupidity but it didn't seem that user friendly 🤯

I've heard the rc-30 is much better.

I want a cheap looper, and I'll tell you why if you want.

Seems like a good solution for adjusting your amp / pedals / line level / whatever, while you're usually having to try to play notes at the same time.

You forgot the bit where you stop the looper for a few bars and then start it again 😃!

Have dabbled in a live setting and may go back to it. The TC Ditto is a decent starting place, or at least I found it to be. Very easy to use and that’s the best thing you can have in a first looper I reckon.

Don't say that or he'll be back with the second part in a moment or two... ;)

The Zoom B3 has a built in looper. Good for a practice.

Its quite an annoyance because it stops and promptly shitz forgets it's self whenever you change patch. 😬

I'd love to but it takes too long.

Yes I realise there's copy'n'paste but I'm a purist and like to suffer for my art.

I've had a Jamman for a few years. A good fun practice tool, but I never managed to successfully use it live. Not as easy as some make it look! (Well for me anyway...!). I wouldn't sell it. But if I lost it I wouldn't replace it. (does than even make sense?)

As soon as the JamMan Express was anounced I ordered two. There are better units out there (it's hard to sync - "where's One?") but they are fun, and yeah, you can put them anywhere in the path and then twiddle with your knobs. Little mini instant recorders. Even easier to loop a drum box or keys.
