Tripod stand for Stagg EUB

I've gone and bought myself a STAGG EUB - very nice but I just cannot get comfy with the little metal bracket which you are supposed to wedge into your side to brace it ... does anybody know of a tripod which would work - I don't mind modding the tripod or the bass

Hi,
I had the same issue so I bought the Stagg EDB stand (about £30 if I remember correctly). Anyway, now I just leave it in there at the start of a gig and play it in the stand. Looks bulky but does the job.

I bought it off the Stagg stand at Music Live last year. (may have been £35 thinking about it).
