tonyclaret
Hi, I have the above bass which I love dearly. It sounds great the neck is totally ace. However the only gripe I have with it is the solid body. I find that after playing for a while it becomes uncomfortable on the forearm. So I wondered what are the alternatives in the stingray/sterling family with a contoured body and a 38mm nut. Thanks in advance. jrixn1
For 38mm + contours, I believe it's just the Ray4.
Mudpup
A 2 band USA Stingray? Probably cheaper to just get a forearm chamfer done on your own bass by a luthier though Edited April 14, 2021 by Mudpup

A Stingray has a slightly wider neck so getting a contour done on your bass is probably the only option. Unless you get a Sterling SB14 or USA Sterling - these have the narrower neck but are a bit more aggressive sounding
