NancyJohnson
Anyone here own an Integra? I was listening to Faith No More's The Real Thing earlier and I was always a sucker for Billy Gould's tone on that album (which I suppose is a mishmash of Geddy/dUg/JJB to my ears)...no idea whether he used one of these for the recording or whether it was just rolled out for videos. I know they go for peanuts, crazy really.
Doctor J
Yeah, I have one, also because of Billy Gould 😂 The Real Thing and Angel Dust are Integras, he only switched to Zon after recording had finished. Great sound, very lightweight, ergonomically excellent, what's not to like?
Chiliwailer
Loved mine as a 15 year old FNM fan, but it was the cheaper passive one, not the higher spec on BG used. Sold it when my Stingray came along - no contest there - but would love to play on one like BG used - suppose his was Japanese? Anyone know? bartelby
I missed a fairly local SB Integra last summer for £85. I hesitated...

Cato
I remember seeing the ads with Billy Gould in guitar mags in the 90s. The pics posted here look far nicer than I remembered it being from that ad. *quickly googles' Hmmm. Reading his wikipedia entry (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Gould) it seems, despite his promise in the ad, he did indeed switch. Edit. Put correct wiki link in Edited April 15, 2021 by Cato

NancyJohnson
Just an addendum here, I think it's glorious when bands stick with cheaper gear...the guitarists from My Chemical Romance continued to use Epiphone stuff while they were filling stadiums and doing festivals. Credit to them.

Just looked it up and it looks fab. Still has bass and treble adjustments, but tucked away, so set and forget. Plus, has the distortion circuit. Would love to try that out. Merton
Weird, @eude and I were talking about Billy Gould's tone last night! Love that Zon
