Pete Academy Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 My name is Pete Bacanin and I work at The Academy of Sound music store in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. I've been playing and gigging for over 35 years, and currently play with UK Steely Dan tribute band, Nearly Dan. I play a Roscoe SKB 5-string bass through an Ashdown Superfly 500 head and Ashdown Mini 4 x 8" and 1 x 15" cabs. (I'm an Ashdown endorsee). I also own a 90s Tobias USA Classic 5 and a 1983 Steinberger L2. I'm not quite sure which one you are, i'm assuming the guy who had some funky slapping going on last time I was in - very good! I only come in for consumables, there's never any 6 strings in or interesting pedals or the like, but the shop is nice and friendly. Quote
