Weight is 3.5 kg or 7.7 lb`s which is damm light for a Sire. Bought this on a whim but it`s not really me, I`m more of a P bass guy. It has the same pre amp as all the other Sire`s but has the addition of a parallel, single coil or series switch for each pickup. Just what a Sire needs, more options! The controls are made of metal instead of the ugly plastic one`s. This is basically a M7 without the fancy top.
