Cases that fit more than one bass

Is anyone using one or recommend one at all. I've seen two online:

https://www.andertons.co.uk/enki-amg-2-electric-bass-case-hard-case-for-2-bass-guitars-aircraft-hold-approved-316117?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiaSs8oeS8AIVA-ztCh2wtA7tEAQYBSABEgLpEPD_BwE

Which looks excellent but probably a bit much for my needs (no flights).

Or

https://www.andertons.co.uk/gator-pro-go-bass-2x-gig-bag-for-2-bass-guitars

Which also looks decent but I do normally prefer hard cases.

I have a couple of dual bags - they rarely get used currently. Would recommend both/either

and one of these:

Sounds counterintuitive but like @Lozz196 I was up for the idea in principle but in practice found 2 separate single bags much easier to carry, fit in a car, stash at gig etc..

Yep, it's a trade off. I like simplicity and tidiness, but the bulk and weight of a double bag is as annoying as having two bags around. You can't really win!

I've never had a double case, and probably wouldn't bother for regular transport. Even when I was working stageside with big touring bands, it would often be numerous hardcases in a flightcase rather than one giant case for them all. Even roadcrews like a little bit of convenience! 😄

Reminds me of when I used to take the tube to rehearsals with a 5-string Stingray and the heaviest Jazz Deluxe V I've ever lifted in one monster gigbag. It wasn't any easier in my 20s, but I was too stupid back then to make it easy on myself!

Ah okay, thanks for input guys. Think I'm gonna stick with separates and save the money for more basses   I'll just have to make my lazy donkey do more trips to the car when I'm loading/unloading :)

A big vote for the Mono double gig bag. With a light weight head and Barefaced cabs I can carry two basses and a 900 watt rig on my own in one go. Don’t give up on the double gig bag idea - I only one take a single bag if I’m taking one bass to a jam. (Just make sure you keep two cables and a set of earplugs in all your bags.)

I can recommend this one for a double gig bag.

If you want something more solid then these are good. I have a single bass version and it's tough and light and I use it when my bass needs to go in the back of the van.

I've got an iGig double bag that I use on most gigs, which will safely take two basses and all the leads and spares, etc that I need on stage. I quite like the fact that it is rather heavy as it makes it very unlikely that some opportunist scrote is going to attempt to pick it up and do a runner with it. This is fine if you just have to take it from the car and back, but is a definite pain in the a*se on the odd occasion that you do have to carry it any distance.

I have had it for a fair few years now and it has done hundreds of gigs. It is now starting to show a bit of wear and tear and I must admit, I am thinking of taking two bags to gigs when the time comes to replace it...!

I've got an old Peavey double gig bag that I bought years ago. I've used it a lot, mostly with my Fenders, but I feel more comfortable using my iGig or my leather Reunion Blues cases with my nicer instruments. They are just better quality cases, and to get that level of protection from a double bag means a heavier case than I'd like.
