Question

Posted (edited)

I seem to have hit the buffers in uploading pictures. I have run out of space.  Any idea what I do next? I am loath to take down stuff because it makes me sad when people do that and I want to look at them for some reason. I suppose I can go back to hosting them externally, but I thought that was over in the Brave New Basschat World.

While I am at it, I wish Grammarly worked on here, it would save me editing eveything I write.

I think you'll have to delete existing attachments. I did it again recently - I think it's one of those periodic things we'll have to get used to with the current system.

I use a system whereby anything important that warrants long term availability is hosted on an external image site, and the Basschat storage is for stuff that doesn't matter if I'm going to need to delete it in 6 months time.

Thanks all. I have deleted stuff. BRX, what site are you using to host? I used to use something but it went belly up. Ta.

I'm using ImgBB. It's not the slickest of sites or interfaces, and it occasionally has problems detecting that I'm logged in, but it does the job and doesn't look as though it's going to be charging for its services any time soon.
