Daft dusting question

This has been driving me crazy on my studio monitors (the only one I can actually see) and esp. the "tweeters". I use canned air and what's called "chip brushes" (cheap animal fur brushes) here in the States, on most everything (knobs, strings) but skared shasta-less about those tweeters. Off to the cosmetics, then. (no glam-rock experience, although did open for the NY Dolls)

My M-Audio monitors have exposed cones; I've draped a lace curtain over them. This keeps dust off the speakers, whilst letting the rich audio tones reach me with no hindrance. I've had occasion to remove them once or twice, when they got beaten moderately to remove accumulated dust. It works for me (and we've a rural, dusty environment...).

Yup, have similar on the monitors but remove them when using the monitors.
