Hello, I'm Bruce Gibbins and I live in Johnsonville, New Zealand.

My bass is a Behringer I picked up on a local on-line auction paying the local equivalent of £44.00.

I've not played bass before, just a little guitar. But I do plan on taking lessons from a local tutor, just to have me heading in the right direction.

My earliest bass influence was Shadows bassist, Jet Harris and I would like to learn some of his bass parts before he quit The Shadows to embark on a solo career before teaming up with one time Shadows drummer, Tony Meehan.

I'm nudging  74, yet not so old that I can't learn something new.
