Behringer Bass Information sought.

On a whim and because the asking price was a bargain I bought a bass made under the Behringer brand.

It's very well made and once given a set up, plays like a P Bass from which the Behringer is designed.

I know from my own use that Behringer is normally associated with the manufacturer of FX pedal boxes and they also produce guitar and bass amplifiers.

Yet here they are at one time, offering a fairly descent bass.

There is enough of a mystery, or lack of information talking about this instrument such as its history, when they were first released, the rational, or purpose for Behringers interesting departure from the electronic tone effects boxes and amps.

I can't find any references showing a range of guitars to sell alongside the bass so a mystery has been created in my mind and like other mysterys encountered in life answered need to be found.

Soooo, is there some knowledge about the Behringer bass here on the forum that can be shared? I sure hope so.
