taha_never
hey everyone! 🍻 has anyone ever seen/used a comp as simple as it can get, even down to two knobs, no tubes, no blend, etc. which doesn't lose low end and can squish. yes I have read Ovnilab. I have a markbass compressore which I can get it to do ANYTHING compression. but: 1. the markbass has a warm tone and colors the tone which I love, but for now, I want a "transparent squish"! if that makes sense! and maybe a bit faster attack than what the markbass offers. 2. how do those one-knob compressors on amps like SVT 4 pro work? I like the sound and action of it's modeling in my IK SVX plugin, set at noon. and I would really love one of those knobs in a pedal. I'm mostly a pick player and never slap cheers T
Downunderwonder
For transparent aside from squished you can't beat the old Trace SMX pedal. One knob for the lows and one for the highs. If you get a wild hair on you can see-saw the EQ with the balance control, or leave it in the middle and it's transparent.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
The TC electronic spectracomp is as simple as it gets with the default settings and a single knob, but can be changed via toneprints or full editing via USB to alter the characteristics
