It really sounds like it adds a bit of sparkle to the sound. Not tone changing exactly but just a bit of shimmer and life added in.

Yep that's kind of what I thought. A bit like the DB 925, it broadens your tone.....a bit like like playing to the width of a football pitch, instead of straight through the middle!
