lobematt
Hi guys, I'm restringing my sire with labella flats and the B string is too fat to go through the hole. Any ideas on a fix? Just drill the hole wider? Thanks!

PlungerModerno
If it's only ever so slightly too big, if there's a bulge in the wrap close to the ball end, you may be able to compress it enough to sneak it through. Just try to make sure it can spin freely as you get wraps around the post.
adamg67
As a fan of hand tools over power tools for a lot of jobs, I'd be leaning towards a small round file. If I didn't have one I'd be using it as an excuse to buy another tool for the tool rack 🙂 That might just be me though.

paul_c2
(I don't know the specifics of a Sire). Which hole? On my bass there's potentially 3: bridge; body thru bridge; tuning peg.
