I liked that song the first time I heard it, it is genuinely different to other things I get to hear, which to me makes the whole thing worthwhile. The italian one was ok, a bit mainstream but the energy was good. And making any bass like noise out of a danelectro is good!

Might be a leap of faith that the Danni was actually on the backing track...

The guy plays an Ibanez RG guitar here, and it can actually be heard in this version too :lol:. They toned it down a bit for Eurovision, I guess to make it less industrial and metal and more appealing to a broader audience. 

 

 

On the scale of how much they can tone it down, this is pretty impressive

 Yes...Also The Dakh Daughters are worth a listen. They have a completely mad stage act as well..!!

I discovered them a couple of years ago, and saw them play in London. One of my best ever gigs. Fantastic. It was the hottest day for years (trains were cancelled due the heat) and they still wore the big furry hats😃.

Checked and I love it. That said, the cellist with the decorated cello is also in DakhaBrakha. 😉
