Juan Alderete

I'm a huge fan of the The Mars Volta and their bass player, Juan Alderete who you may know from his YouTube channel Pedals and Effects.

He was involved in a freak bicycle accident and fell into a coma during our lockdown. He's now in recovery, learning how to walk and speak again.

I thought it might be a nice gesture from the forum to raise some money to help with his recovery. Their target has almost been met with donations from fellow bass players all around the world. So sad.

I'm so flipping gutted about this. Big TMV fan. Managed to meet the guy when Big Sir played in Birmingham, and he was so gracious to anyone who wanted to chat.
