Velarian
I was looking at that same one just now. Shame about the pics but it does look in remarkably good condition. What’s it really worth do you reckon?
ash
Well it’s a shame the case is not Fender. High street prices are high for 70’s Fenders at the moment but they vary so much in quality (and weight) it’s difficult to definitively price them. I’d be offering half the asking price max. But it would have to weigh under 4.5kgs to tempt me 😉

Have to wonder if I splurged the cash whether I'd receive something that turned out to be Dreck. Edited May 29, 2021 by JottoSW1
Velarian
I was tempted by it as I had an identical one in the late 70s with a serial number just a couple of hundred different to this one. But not at that price unfortunately.
vinorange
That’s in very very good condition for a 44 year old Fender P. Best combination too of gloss black with maple. I’d say it’s worth well over £2k. Not the normal dross you see by any means. Edited May 29, 2021 by vinorange
JottoSW1
Given his plain and clean simple looking Bass it's almost ironic that the Vendor's other items for sale are fancy wood coffee tables.
Reggaebass
It looks like a nice example, but you never know without trying, if it’s all original and no original case I’d say value wise it’s around the 2k mark

Chiliwailer
Not in excellent original condition though if that Badass has left a mark where it overlaps the original bridge... Insane £ too Edited May 30, 2021 by Chiliwailer
Maude
Picture #5 puts me in mind of a Sandberg. 😄
tauzero
Of course, if you were selling a £300 bass for £3000, you'd make sure the pictures weren't in focus.
