Starting this thread as a dedicated thread for the topic raised in the "three piece' thread. So you're in a 3 piece, and when the guitarist switches from rhythm to lead you feel that the song goes 'empty'. What can you do? Opinions welcome from "Embrace the Space" comments to tech tips etc.
