Also, can someone please explain to me where the misspelling of neck as 'kneck' came from?  I get that heel and heal get mixed up as homophones but kneck?  That isn't even a word!

Could you be more pacific on the fineness of the paste?

In an exit interview from an awful job I cited the HR Director continually saying "Pacifically" as I reason I couldn't work there any more. If that's their calibre of board members, I'm out.

I think it is time for someone to create the most disgusting ad from all these notes. Waiting to see that it will spread like butter (?) throughout the whole bass playing community. And the ad will be used as a reference to any beaten Fender, or whatever.

Are you reading my mind ? 🤣

Wait a bit and that ad will be online... It's a promise I made. 😎

Currently working with a client who is, at times, a royal PITA. The only thing that makes him bearable is the fact that he thinks it's "subwoofter", not subwoofer.

OK, it's not a disliked phrase so much as a misused word, but we are already including those so here goes..........

Saying "rift" instead of "riff"  - e.g.  'I liked the guitar rift in that song.'

(On balance: Actually, I'm pleased when a non musician at least tries to use some musical terms even if they don't quite get it right. So maybe I shouldn't complain. But I am anyway 🙂 )

I personally cringe at basses being called she.

I also find it bizarre that a dent by the Jack socket needs to be highlighted with "in no way affects the playability"

Names or genders for inanimate objects. Hate it.

I worked in a shop with a lovely bloke, but he was full of cheesy lines…

”congratulations on your first guitar/bass/trumpet - now you have to name her…”

🤦🏻‍♂️
