Oooh, this could be a cracking little unit especially if it can do the drive sound that's built into the Magellan 800, which is more like a pushed valve amp, very natural sounding, slightly compressed, smooth drive with an inherent mid-bump that sits just right in the mix. If it does that sound, and by blurb suggests it does, along with the additional flexibility of high and low pass filters and an adjustable clean blend, then I think this will be a very popular unit and a much needed counterpoint to modern scooped, clanky drive pedals.

The Jazz in the clip sounds great, as does the Ampeg B15 tone. I must admit I’m getting more into just getting some drive/gain on my bass without changing the sound of it, this pedal, expensive as it may be looks like a great way to do that, and with the filters good levels of control.

Looks and sounds good, thanks for sharing Dan. Shame that the HPF and LPF are not also available on clean by-pass, that would have added another really useful string to this pedal's bow!

Has anyone actually tried this yet? I use a Magellan and I love the drive, but I also have fuzz and distortion on my board, so this might be redundant, but I'm really tempted.
