GEWA?

Does anyone have any experience with GEWA basses? I keep being drawn back to look at this hybrid. Made in Asia (China?) I believe..

Can't really find any in depth knowledge about them so far.

What do you think?

Their cellos used to be made in Romania?

Can't comment on their double basses, but I have a couple of nyckelharpa bows made by them, and they are very good considering their very reasonable price.

Thanks, I didn't know that. 

I do know that the bass I'm looking at here isn't made in Germany like their top end instruments. As long as the bass is good and made well I don't suppose it matters where it's made. Looks good anyway.
