Aerosmith power ballads caused the grunge movement

Due to a massive backlash incited by the ‘Boston derived Power Ballad’ Grunge became the emergent genre in mainstream music from the 90’s… despite the questionable weather in the Pacific Northwest. The importance of Twin Peaks, damn fine coffee and cherry pie remains under scrutiny at this time.
