I've been looking at Lindo basses lately but I hadn't seen a thin body version. Got a link Reg? Hi ya frank, I’m not sure if Lindo do a slim body version, the slim one I looked at was the Washburn AB10 but for the amount I would probably use it it was a bit expensive 1 Quote

LowB_FTW Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 My Washburn AB-35, which I absolutely love. It needs a string change, but at the moment this is the only solo photo I have of it. Mark 1 Quote
Geek99 Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 I got a fairly cheap stagg and it does the job nicely I use it aT OM nights to run ideas around with people first and not need an amp Quote
bass_dinger Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 (edited) Acoustic bass guitars are very niche, I have found. I had a Hobgoblin 5 string which I loved to play in my ukulele band. I then upgraded to a Boulder Creek 5 string, with a set of Thomastik Infeld strings. Wonderful instrument - many times I have wanted to sell it, but the tone and ease of playing made me keep it. It is a very responsive instrument, which encourages me to play better. However, I have not played it in a band in 5 years. Really, it needs the right application - a fully acoustic string band, perhaps? Maybe with violin, mandolin, and guitar too? Edited October 22, 2024 by bass_dinger Quote

Sounded good but hard to play for a length of time. Quote

I love mine though. I have the AB-34 as well, which I really should get around to selling at some point. Mark Quote

Mark love that - always tentatively “watch” them when they come up on eBay/reverb - never see the sunburst though…nice 1 Quote
