ebenezer Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Has anyone had any chance of trying this bass out?....looks great to me, like a hybrid between b5 plus and A5 plus... also looks like a good modding platform. Quote
dub_junkie Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Is this an update on the B5 plus AS RM? the Element says it has got ash top on mahogany body and the electronics are Bartolini vs solid ash body and Bartolini pickups with Mark bass preamp on the AS RM. I would buy either as I’ve had really good ownership experiences with Cort basses. Think I’ve had six of the GB models (74/75/94/99) and they’ve all been really excellent. I still have a hankering for a B5 so will need to get to a shop and try one. Quote
ebenezer Posted July 3, 2021 Author Posted July 3, 2021 Looks like quite an update.... would like to know what weight they are though. Quote
ebenezer Posted July 9, 2021 Author Posted July 9, 2021 Anybody had the opportunity to try it out?..... looks like a great hybrid between A and B series. Quote
ebenezer Posted August 2, 2021 Author Posted August 2, 2021 Just thought I would bump this.... anybody bought or tried one? Quote
lemmywinks Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Looks interesting, I would think the regular B5 with the Markbass preamp would be the better option though, even the C5 if you can do without the licensed Ultralites. Quote
Fishfacefour Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 (edited) I have the b5 plus as rm. It plays very nicely and seems pretty light. I haven't had a chance to try it through a proper amp yet, only in headphones. There's plenty of mileage in the mark bass preamp to change the sound. Don't know if this is of any help.
