FabFour
Hi, I'm knew here and looking for some advice. I recently purchased a Hofner ignition bass which I'm going to do some upgrade mods to. One of the mods is adding a zero glide nut/zero fret. However I'm not sure which one to get and ones that I've seen seem to be radiused and I believe the ignition series have flat fretboards. Any advice/experience of this would be much appreciated.
Waddo Soqable
You can certainly get flat non radius zero frets, I looked at all this a couple of months back, have a look on ebay there's a few sellers and both types are available for sure. Waddo Soqable
I just looked back at stuff I've bought to check, and I got the zero fret direct from Tonetech luthier supplies, give them a bell or an email, they were very quick and efficient to deal with as I recall. They'll certainly be able to advise and supply ( it was about 8 quid I think)
