I will have to try it myself because I've always liked Orange amps Pretty sure my LBT doesn't have any valves in it. 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 (edited) It's the Tiny Terror Bass that has a valve input stage. Edited July 14, 2021 by Stub Mandrel Corrected! Quote

A store next to my house has one at a good price You live next door to a shop selling bass gear!😮 That's dangerous. My GAS would get so bad I'd need to go to rehab...and my missus would have probably kicked me out by now. 1 Quote
FinnDave Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 Gigged my LBT again last weekend - still happy with it, very easy to adjust on the fly, which is what I wanted, being a bit on the thick side. Quote
Grewster Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Gigged with mine too at the weekend! Despite being outside and playing into an 8ohm cab didn’t need to go past 3! 1 Quote

Yep for sure this amp is loud !! Im typically running my compression at 12 o clock which in itself boosts the volume too !! Quote

Mine's at about half way as well, the compression seems to have more affect on the volume the volume control does! Quote
BassAdder60 Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Yes ive noticed it’s like a boost compressor but it works very well Quote

Trueno Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Mods… lock this thread. I’m on GAS overload here. 1 Quote
FinnDave Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Doesn't look anything special, just a rectangular metal box with a few knobs on it 😏 Quote
MartinB Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Is the treble control boost-only, and the bass control cut-only, or am I misinterpeting the symbols? Quote

BassAdder60 Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 The Treble, mids and bass are cut and boost and the other EQ is mid frequency selection increase / decrease HZ No input gain control only -6db pad for active basses Quote

Grewster Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Dumb question here - the Little Orange Bass Thing has two speaker connections ... do I connect an 8ohm speaker cab to each of those for the total 4ohm load or do I daisychain the two cabs ... or either?? Quote

I'm fairly certain that the manual illustrates two 8 ohm cabs, one to each outlet, but doesn't specify whether they are in series or parallel I can't check as my manual has managed to lose itself in the few weeks since I bought the amp! I'd appreciate a definitive answer as well. Quote
BassAdder60 Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 You could also daisy chain two 8 ohm cabs and connect into one of the amp connectors this would equal a 4ohm total speaker load Quote
