I can't see a teacher offering free online lessons. There are plenty of free online resources on Youtube e.g. Scott's Bass Lessons and TalkingBass

This guy is offering the first lesson free. 

if you purchase a series of disguises and assume a new identity each time you might get several free lessons. Alternatively you could pay for tuition like the rest of us (apologies if you are an utterly destitute bass player living in, say, North Korea).
