What bass is this? Advertised as Spector lx5

Hoping to get this bass, but the lack of battery plate on the back makes me think it is wrongly advertised...

Looks totally legit to me. The separate battery compartment's a newer thing, the older ones have the battery inside the control cavity. Imagine they changed it because it's more of a PITA to unscrew the control plate each time.

Yes, looks legit to me too. Looks actually very nice. Classic amber look. BTW, the serial number gives it away as a 2008 model. From the Spector website:

2001 – 2010
If there are four digits after the NB, you would add (1) to the first digit to determine the year.
Examples:
NB 0212 = 2001
NB 2517 = 2003
NB 9914 = 2010

Yep, I have a NS-5 CRFM that's just like that (but in blue), with no battery compartment. Probably an early 2000s model, I think they introduced the separate battery compartment about 10 years back.

If it's a price you're willing to pay, go for it. They're very nice basses.

If it is has maple wings WITHOUT a line of walnut through the middle (look on the sides/edges of the bass body) then it is a Euro 5. If it has a line of walnut then it is a Euro 5LX.
