Johngh Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 You can't argue with the talent that she has, thats for sure. Terrific player, nothing much new though. It just seems like a guitar player turned to bass, and then, guess what. Bass Hero ! Quote

Pretty standard tone from that combination. Sure the DI is post eq on that recording. Not my thing musically but can appreciate what she does, and she nails it. Quote

Telebass Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 (edited) I have no great love for the music itself, but she is good! Like Michael Manring, she smiles when playing, as if to say just how much fun it is to be able to do this, rather than coming across as a smart-arse. She enjoys it! More power to her. And when you can play like that, who cares what you look like? Jaco was no oil painting... Edited March 30, 2009 by Telebass Quote

KennysFord Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 If i had half or even a third of her talent i'd be as chuffed as a chuffed thing could be. To me there's nothing more satisfying than watching someone enjoying what they're playing. Quote
niceguyhomer Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I think she's fabulous and I love her style of playing. I wish I could play like that. Quote
