i forgot to mention, although the battery and truss rod cover are missing, i will get some new ones and include these with the bass.

1. How much tonal variation is possible with the 2-band EQ?
2. How good is the setup?
3. Does it take rechargable batteries, and how easy is it to change the batteries?

Also I'll try one in a store somewhere and get back to you if I'm into it.

These basses have Uber punchy mids for a start...not too keen on "knob twiddlery" on the EQ so I can't say much on that but these are very good.
Had eye ball on it myself but had to let it go as I'm in a pinch right now.

Ignor the name, nothing wrong with Ibanez...Look at this dude! He's schooled in Jazz and he's using an SRX!
His tone isn;t as punchy but that's cause his strings are dead and he sets his EQ that way.
