Does anyone know the difference in weight between the 4 string and the 5 string please ?

I looked at the ultra 4 string, really nice bass, and it said it was 9 1/4 pounds, and according to bassgearmag, here’s the 5

weight on these varies quite a bit, my usa deluxe 5 weighs 4.2kgs. and my elite 4 weighs 4.2kgs, but i have seen them upto 4.8/5.0 kg and i'm sure the ultra will be no different

I own both the Jazz and the Precision in that range. Most of the Ultra Jazzes I've tried have been just over 9lbs(the one I bought is 9.2lbs).  Tried a few of the five strings and, while I can't remember actual weights, none of the fives felt much heavier than the fours so I'm a bit surprised at the weight of the one Reggaebass showed.  I think you would benefit from shopping around.  Oddly my Ash Precision is about 8.10lbs.
