TheGreek Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Some will say it's a meaningless exercise but if you don't vote then your opinion counts for nothing. yorks5stringer Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 it's a bit worrying that they have to tell us who some of the players worked with, e.g Paul McCartney (Beatles) whereas Scott Lafaro who worked with Bill Evans has no such addition. Does that means a lot of the Jazz players will be ignored by the voting readers or are they well known enough by the poll readers not to need the extra info? 2 Quote

yorks5stringer Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 The winner will probably then be someone who is a guitarist and deps on Bass too.... Quote
Barking Spiders Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 (edited) if we take the meaning of 'ultimate' to mean last or final then good-oh! Edited July 21, 2021 by Barking Spiders Quote

Stub Mandrel Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 You can add people to the list. I demand we all vote for @Teebs Quote
SteveXFR Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Bit of a stinky poo survey. You can't skip the questions you don't have an opinion on. How many people will choose one at random because they're not interested in best jazz fusion player and want to get on to the next question. I just answered Geezer Butler for every category Quote
Rich Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Oh how I hate these sort of 'best ever' polls. Music is a way of life, not a f**king competition. 2 Quote

Like sticking Playboy centrefolds or slightly risque posters of Brigitte Bardot/Farrah Fawcett/Pamela Anderson/current babe of the day on your bedroom walls, putting up 'best evah guitarist/luteist etc' polls/lists is something one maybe should've stopped doing around aged 15? 2 Quote
