Happy Jack
One other thing ... the sales blurb for this bass claims that the rail pickups are to maintain output level when bending the strings. I can't honestly say that I've had problems with this in the past, but just so you can hear whether this makes a difference: FLATS Semitone bends at 5th fret.mp3 FLATS Semitone bends at 12th fret.mp3
JohnDaBass
A very versatile instrument , I love the simplicity of the 3 position switch selecting such a broad range of tones. Thanks for sharing. Lovely bass , money well spent methinks!
scrumpymike
Those strings are just the best - for me and you at least ☺️
krispn
I noticed Merchant City have one and I’m thinking of a good excuse to go to Glasgow.
Jonesy
Sounds terrible and I think you should get rid of it. Being the charitable gentleman that I am, I could be convinced to give it a good home. As a favour, of course 😁
barrycreed
Can't wait to see more demos of this. Saw some vids of MW with various bands and some crack off his Wattplower with the P config. I have GAS for a Ric 4003s (keeping an eye out used) but one of these or the Sentinel also barged its way into the reckoning. Must not break... must not crack.....! Happy Jack
And here's what it sounded like at its first outing, a dep gig at zero notice with a more-or-less scratch band. This band may turn out to be a decent side-project for me ... festivals and midweek gigs to fill the yawning gaps between weekend gigs. 😂
