I don't think I've seen Rosewood that grained....could be Laurel but I haven't seen that many Laurel fretboards. I think I am leaning now to this being Laurel, however it's possible they've had this for a while and it arrived before Rosewood was such an issue. I said "I thought Reverend switched to Blackwood Tek for the Thundergun" but he insisted it was rosewood. I didn't want to show him the information on the Reverend site, but I had to wonder why he didn't see the proof right under his nose...or at least feel the proof, because though it might resemble rosewood, it feels like maple.
